School is back in session and Fall is just around the corner. Then right after that is the holidays and the end of the year. I know it’s soon to be thinking about December 31st, but it will be here before we know it. It seems that as you get older…time flies by faster and faster. So, why am I bringing that up now? We’ll, the end of the year is also the end of your insurance benefits for this year. That means that if you have not utilized all of your dental benefits for 2015, you will lose it. Your benefits do not carry over to the following year, in this case, 2016.
If you do not use up all your benefits for a Dentist in San Mateo, the insurance companies say “thank you very much” and then have a party with your money. They get to keep it. It is now theirs. You no longer have a claim to it. Millions of dollars a year of dental benefits are never used. Why do think the insurance companies always have the biggest and tallest buildings in each major city? They make their money on your unused benefits and the premiums.
Don’t let your benefits go to waste…it is yours to use. Use it before it goes back into your insurance companies pockets. Use it wisely.
